Dr Sai Achuthan is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with specialist expertise in neurodevelopmental psychiatry, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD and substance misuse. With over a decade of clinical and leadership experience across the NHS and private sector, he brings a comprehensive and deeply informed approach to diagnosis and care.
Dr Achuthan conducts online autism assessments at ADHD Health Clinic, combining clinical precision with warmth, empathy and evidence-based practice. He is known for his ability to support individuals with complex psychiatric needs, including dual diagnoses and overlapping neurodevelopmental presentations. His passion for improving outcomes in ASD and ADHD is reflected in his clinical work and in his dedication to advancing the field through education, service development and medical leadership.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Achuthan has held senior leadership roles, including Medical Director and Deputy Regional Medical Director at major independent mental health providers. He is Chair of the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ South West Division and Vice Chair of the South of England Approval Panel. His influence in shaping best practice and clinical standards has earned national recognition, including Consultant of the Year in 2023 and Medical Leader of the Year in 2024.
