She adopts a holistic and collaborative approach to assessment and treatment. Her priority is to create a safe, containing space where patients feel comfortable sharing their narrative. She integrates biological, psychological, social, and developmental perspectives in order to provide thoughtful and individualised care.

Dr Ashokan has completed a diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy, further enhancing her ability to work inclusively and sensitively with those with gender and sexual diversity.
