Katherine Goodsell Bio

Katherine is a Chartered Psychologist with over 15 years’ experience in the assessment, treatment, and management of complex psychological needs. Her areas of expertise include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, personality disorders, trauma, general mental health, cognitive ability, and risk assessment.

She is fully trained in the gold-standard diagnostic tools for Autism Spectrum, and has extensive experience delivering comprehensive assessments, therapeutic interventions, consultancy, and expert witness services. Katherine has worked within a range of services including the NHS, secure hospitals, prisons, and the private sector, where she has supported individuals, families, and professionals in navigating complex presentations with clarity, compassion, and evidence-based practice.

Katherine has led multidisciplinary teams in developing and delivering psychological services to adults and children, with a strong focus on neurodevelopmental pathways. She has acted as an expert witness for criminal court cases in her areas of specialism for more than a decade and her professional development reflects a commitment to clinical excellence.

In addition, Katherine is an EMDR Practitioner with specialist training in trauma and attachment-focused interventions and has delivered specialist training to organisations including the Metropolitan Police Service.
