Dr Bethan Durrell is an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with over two decades in medicine and more than 13 years as a consultant. She graduated in medicine from the University of Manchester in 2002, also holding a BSc (Hons) in Medical Science from the University of St Andrews, and went on to complete her psychiatry training in the North West before becoming a consultant in 2011.
Dr Durrell has a special interest in adult ADHD and women’s mental health, particularly the impact of perimenopause and is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care. She also holds qualifications in mental health law, bringing additional expertise to her clinical work. Fluent in both Welsh and English, Dr Durrell offers assessments in either language, ensuring accessibility and comfort for a diverse range of patients. Her goal is to provide clear, thorough and supportive assessments that help individuals understand their needs and access the right treatment.
