Dr Ayaz Qureshi is an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with over 12 years experience. He holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Adult Psychiatry with an endorsement in Substance Misuse and is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. His specialist expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of adult ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and complex co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression and substance misuse.
Dr Qureshi has worked extensively across a range of NHS Trusts and national ADHD services, developing a comprehensive understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions and their impact on daily life. He has also held senior leadership roles, including Regional Lead and Consultant Psychiatrist at the national drug and alcohol charity Change, Grow, Live (CGL), where he oversaw service delivery across multiple regions. Alongside his clinical work, Dr Qureshi teaches postgraduate students as a tutor at the University of South Wales and is committed to medical education and mentorship.
Known for his compassionate, person-centred approach, Dr Qureshi provides thorough ADHD assessments and bespoke treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of his patients. His weekend availability offers flexible scheduling for clients who may find weekday appointments difficult to attend. Whether supporting patients through initial diagnosis or helping them navigate co-existing challenges, Dr Qureshi brings clarity, expertise, and a strong commitment to improving mental health outcomes.
