Abigail Ndhlovu is Neurodiversity Specialist with 19 years of experience in the assessment, and management of complex psychological needs. Her areas of expertise include Autism, ADHD, personality disorders, trauma informed approaches, general mental health, cognitive ability, and risk assessment and management.
She is fully trained in the gold-standard diagnostic tools for Autism Spectrum, and has extensive experience delivering comprehensive assessments, informed and evidence based therapeutic interventions. Abi has worked within a range of services including the NHS, secure hospitals, prisons, and the private sector, where she has supported individuals, families, and professionals in navigating complex presentations with clarity, compassion, and evidence-based practice. She spent some time in Oxford as lecturer in one of their universities focusing on forensic mental health. She has worked with large NHS as a project manager and helping in setting up CAMHS and subdivisions within the service.
Abigail has worked in senior roles within NHS and private sector supporting teams in ensuring care and support for people was delivered to high standards. In the last 4 years she has worked within neurodevelopmental pathways triaging and assessing patients with neurodivergence needs. She is keen and enthusiastic professional with a passion for ensuring people with neurodivergence needs are assessed appropriately and with compassion.
